Lighting done for the second level of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Getting the proper feel of the lingering sandstorm was a big collaborative effort, but I couldn't be prouder of the result we accomplished!
As a lighter I dialed in the atmosphere and collaborated with VFX to get the sand and wind just right, as well as ensuring a seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces. If you perch high on a skyscraper during the level, you'll notice that the sand in the air is thicker down low around the buildings, and has mostly been blown away up high.
Lighting in interior spaces was a collaborative effort between myself and other members of the lighting team!
